Mingqiang Liang (Ming), L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts with a rich background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Before moving to the U.S., he worked as a TCM doctor in China, gaining extensive clinical experience in both acupuncture and integrative medicine.
Ming earned his degrees from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, the oldest and one of the most prestigious TCM universities in China. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on acupuncture, followed by a fully funded master’s degree in clinical medicine over three additional years.
With over a decade of medical experience, Ming has trained in top-tier hospitals, including a one-year internship at Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a 2.5-year residency at Zhongshan Hospital of Chinese Medicine. During his residency, he specialized in the treatment of severe bone fractures and related injuries, assisting in over 1,000 surgical operations annually. His work integrating acupuncture and Chinese medicine for postoperative pain relief has deepened his understanding of human anatomy and holistic healing.
Beyond orthopedic care, Ming has a strong interest in mental health treatment through acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He has treated conditions such as insomnia, anxiety, migraines, and facial paralysis and has contributed to research in these areas.
Ming is dedicated to combining his surgical knowledge with traditional healing techniques to provide effective, patient-centered care.
